Materials

Plastic Laminate, or Ironwood Manufacturing's Cascade line, combines value, durability, and a myriad of design options.  Solid colors, patterns, and wood grains are available from the largest decorative laminate manufacturers in the world.  General purpose laminate is applied to 45 lb. high density particle board.  Edges are applied prior to faces to lessen vandalism.

Phenolic at Ironwood Manufacturing, comes in color (Selkirk) and solid core (Olympic) is incredibly durable, highly impact resistant, will not dent or delaminate, and is impervious to moisture.  It is unaffected by steam or high humidity and even resists marring with pens, pencils, and markers.  Standard material has a class "B" fire rating, but class "A" is available for a slight up charge.  Solid phenolic will not carry a flame, melt or warp like solid plastic (HDPE or Polypropylene).  This makes Ironwood solid phenolic ideally suited for shower and locker rooms, or for high traffic and high vandalism areas.  Finishes can be chosen from a wide range of decorative patterns, wood grains, and solid colors.
